The faculty of Tehmi Grant Institute of Nursing Education believes that they have to confirm to the principles of general education. The formal educational preparation provided will be based on these principles and sound professional knowledge and skills. We believe that education is a process of continuous growth resulting in change of behaviour in accordance with the aims and objectives of the program.

The Institute of Nursing believes that nursing is a profession based on blending of arts and science and is dedicated to the well being of the society through the promotion of health, prevention of illness and care and rehabilitation of the sick and injured regardless of cast, creed, race and socio economic status. The institute will provide comprehensive nursing education based on scientific principles influenced by advances in science and technology.

We recognize that the students learn more effectively when learning experiences are provided in an environment conducive to learning, which is carefully selected, organized and directed with good teaching aids under the guidance of well-qualified teachers. The learning experiences are selected and implemented to stimulate creative thinking and problem solving ability.

We believe in preparing nurse practitioners who will excel in the practice of their profession and strive for the continued all round development as a contributing citizen of the society. We believe in helping the students to develop pride in their profession and research oriented.
