The Tehmi Grant Institute of Nursing Education is equipped with well ventilated and comfortable class rooms, laboratories for foundations of nursing, nutrition, anatomy, physiology and community health. The Institute has a well-stocked library with the latest books and periodicals, a computer lab with internet facilities and adequate number of audio-visual aids. We also have a vast variety of reference books and journals in the hospital library.

The clinical teaching of our students is conducted in Ruby Hall Clinic. This hospital is one of the best multi - specialty medical institutions in India dedicated to diagnosis, treatment and research in the various aspects of health care. This hospital has state of the art facilities for Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Neurology, Neuro Surgery, Nephrology, Diagnostic Center, Transplant Units, IVF Center, Blood Bank & Cancer Center. The hospital has a central laboratory for all investigative procedures, full body MRI, CT Scan, Mammography etc. The 24 hours Emergency Medical Services in this hospital is the best in the city and neighborhood. Both the indoor and outdoor patient care facilities are managed by well qualified and competent consultants and other staff members.
We also sent our students to the Yerwada Mental Hospital with a capacity of 1600 beds, for their psychiatric nursing experience. The students are also sent to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital for maternity health nursing experience. The Wagholy primary health center is adopted by the Institute for rural community health nursing experience. The well established Urban Health Center situated at the Institute premises is used for urban health nursing experience for the students.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE
The 4 years B.Sc. Nursing Degree Course is designed as per Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, and in accordance with guide lines of Indian Nursing Council with the approval of Maharashtra Nursing Council.
Intake: 30 students every year to the first year B.Sc. Nursing.

ELIGIBILTY

NATIONALITY- The candidate should be an Indian, preferably a Domicile of
Maharashtra.

Age- 17-25 years.

Sex- female unmarried candidates. Divorcees and widows without encumbrances will also be considered.
Educational Qualification-

The candidate should have passed 12th standard (10+2) Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination of Maharashtra State Board or any other Examination recognized as equivalent Exam by the university, consisting of Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) and English.
The candidate should have obtained not less than 50% of the total marks at the qualifying exams Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English taken together.

Medical Fitness
The candidate must be physically and mentally fit for admission. The candidate has to undergo a basic medical fitness test before being admitted to the course.
